You can buy NFTs at Selfridges’ physical store now
Selfridges is now offering in their brick and mortar stores digital artworks as NFTs. They are for sure one of the first retailers doing that.They also have similar offers in their Metaverse store, opened in Decentralend.
This is a great example how the new digital world Metaverse does already merge with physical stores.
Technically spoken there are not so many POS applications in the world that are enabling this kind of business model. One of the first ones that implemented sales of NFTs in their (physical) POS application is Shopify. The other vendors will follow for sure, but it will take some time.
